WinDeed hits the road - II

8 May 2008

The roadshow which will be taking place around the country in the next few weeks will be run by Colin Day, CEO and developer of WinDeed. Over the last few months innovative and powerful search functionality has been released and it is these aspects which will be explained and demonstrated by Colin Day and which should prove to be of particular interest to attorneys, valuers and others. These include:

Spider - Property ownership profile
This impressive search allows one to do an in-depth nationwide search on a person or a company showing current and previously-owned properties and, by using associations, one can follow links to marriage and company ownership. Try a spider http://www.windeed.co.za/Help/SpiderHelp/viewer.htm

Automated valuations
Now you can get an automated Lightstone valuation on a residential property. This includes a street address, the last selling price, and the estimated high and low values. Comparative sales, aerial photos and maps are also provided if available.

Off-line searching
When you are searching with WinDeed and the Deeds Office goes down, you will be advised of this and be offered some alternatives:

  • Use the WinDeed Off-line facility (which uses the WinDeed database) and/or
  • Be notified when the Deeds Office is available again
Attendance at these roadshows is free. To book your place or for more information, please contact WinDeed Customer Care at 08600-EVENT or e-mail support@windeed.co.za
